Supporting organizations

There are a number of organizations supporting the greening of schoolyards in some capacity - funding, design support, etc.  Many schools in Manitoba have taken advantage of this support.  Check out these sites for an idea of what is possible.  As this Munroe initiative moves forward, we'll want to develop a partnership involving staff, parents and students, who will work with organizations like these.

As you know from our first post "Getting Started", next steps include surveying the parent, staff and student communities for their ideas about how to "reform" our school yard.  Only after we've gathered that survey data, will we write a proposal to submit to the River East Transcona School Division.  Board Office approval will be required, before any work can actually take place.
